Main Ingredients
  • 100g Ham (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1/2 Zucchini (sliced into half-moons)
  • 1/4 Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Korean Green Chili Pepper (seeds removed and finely minced – adjust for spice preference)
  • 1/3 stalk Green Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil (approx. 15ml)
  • A pinch of Sesame Seeds (for garnish)

Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (approx. 1.25g)
  • 1/3 Tbsp Minced Garlic (approx. 5g)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (approx. 7.5ml)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables. Finely mince the Korean green chili pepper after removing the seeds for a pleasant heat, and chop the green onion. Thinly slice the onion. Slice the zucchini into half-moons, about 0.5cm thick. Ensuring all vegetables are cut to similar sizes will help them cook evenly.

Step 2

Cut the ham into pieces similar in size to the zucchini. If they are too large, they might not blend well with the zucchini; if too small, they might get lost. Slicing them to about 1cm thick is recommended.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add 1/3 tablespoon of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then, add the prepared vegetables (onion, zucchini, green onion, and chili pepper), except for the ham. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of salt for initial seasoning. Stir-fry quickly for about 30 seconds to keep the vegetables crisp. Next, add the ham and stir-fry together. Drizzle in 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce. Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the ham is golden brown and the ingredients are well combined. Your delicious stir-fried ham and zucchini is ready!

Step 4
