  • 2 Tbsp oligodang (adjust sweetness as preferred)
  • A pinch of toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 rounds of cooking oil (approx. 2 Tbsp)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the dried shredded squid. If the strands are too long, they can get tangled during cooking and be difficult to eat. It’s best to use scissors to cut them into manageable, bite-sized pieces, suitable for children to eat.

Step 2

Now, preheat the pan. Placing the prepared shredded squid into the pan before turning on the heat allows you to start stir-frying immediately in the next step, which is convenient.

Step 3

To the pan with the shredded squid, drizzle about two rounds (approximately 2 Tbsp) of cooking oil. The oil helps the squid cook evenly without burning.

Step 4

It’s crucial to maintain low heat. High heat will cause the squid to burn quickly. Stir gently with a spatula or chopsticks to mix the shredded squid and oil thoroughly. The squid is well-cooked when its color turns a light golden yellow, the originally soft texture becomes firmer, and it feels slightly crispy.
