Sweet Potato Puree
  • 18g Early Stage Rice Powder
  • 14g Peeled Sweet Potato
  • 260ml Water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Using a kitchen scale, precisely measure 18g of early stage rice powder. Accurate measurement is key for the base of baby food.

Step 2

Prepare 260ml of clean water. Using a measuring cup can make this easier. (e.g., 160ml + 100ml)

Step 3

In the inner pot of your rice cooker, add the measured rice powder and 260ml of water. Stir gently with a whisk or spatula until smooth and lump-free. Then, add the pre-diced sweet potato cubes and mix again softly.

Step 4

Select the ‘Reheat’ or ‘Baby Food’ setting on your rice cooker and set it to run for 13 minutes. The rice cooker will automatically complete the cooking process, so just wait until your delicious sweet potato puree is ready.

Step 5

After taking out the finished sweet potato puree from the rice cooker, pass it through a fine sieve (strainer) to ensure there are no remaining lumps of sweet potato. This will make it even smoother for your baby to eat. Portion it into baby food containers and serve 1-2 times a day.
