Main Ingredients
  • 3 King Oyster Mushrooms
  • 1/4 stalk Green Onion

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan over low heat. Add the chopped green onions and gently sauté them to create fragrant green onion oil. This will infuse the oil with a delicious aroma and depth of flavor. Once the green onions are lightly golden, prepare to add the sliced king oyster mushrooms.

Step 2

Slice the king oyster mushrooms into bite-sized pieces (about 0.5cm thick, half-moon shapes, or 3-4cm long sticks). Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan with the green onion oil. Stir-fry over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms start to become slightly translucent and soften.

Step 3

Now, add the seasonings: 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide. For a touch of heat, add the 6 dried red chilies (or roughly crushed dried chili pepper). Increase the heat to high and stir-fry quickly for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring all the ingredients are well combined and coated with a glossy sauce. Once the sauce has thickened slightly and coats the mushrooms beautifully, it’s ready! Turn off the heat and enjoy immediately.
