Ingredients
- 20g Fresh Salmon
- 15g Cabbage
- 15g Zucchini
- 15g Button Mushrooms
- Rice (for baby food)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by preparing all your fresh ingredients. Rinse the salmon thoroughly. Clean the button mushrooms, removing the tough ends of the stems. For the cabbage, core it and wash it well. Wash the zucchini and prepare it for chopping.
Step 2
Now, let’s get the ingredients ready for your baby. Gently poach the fresh salmon in boiling water to cook it through and remove any impurities. Once cooked, flake the salmon into a mash. Lightly blanch the button mushrooms, then finely mince them for added umami. Finely chop the zucchini. The cabbage, which is great for preventing constipation due to its fiber content, should also be lightly blanched and then finely minced.
Step 3
Create a flavorful broth to enhance the taste of your baby food. Use the vegetable broth created from blanching the cabbage and mushrooms. Add your pre-soaked rice to this broth and cook until it forms a soft porridge. Ensure the rice grains are thoroughly cooked and soft.
Step 4
Finally, combine all the prepared ingredients to create a nutritious and delicious meal. First, add the finely chopped zucchini to the rice porridge and simmer until tender. Next, add the minced cabbage and mushrooms and continue to simmer. Lastly, stir in the mashed salmon and cook for just a short while longer over low heat. Avoid overcooking the salmon, as it can become dry. Your savory salmon and vegetable baby food is now ready!
