  • 1 cup Strawberries, about 150g
  • Balsamic glaze (optional, for added richness)

Strawberry Dressing
  • 1 container Plain Yogurt (about 100g)
  • 5-6 Strawberries (about 50g)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp Honey (or corn syrup, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp – 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (for fresh flavor)
  • A pinch of Salt (to balance flavors)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, let’s make the delicious strawberry yogurt dressing. In a blender or food processor, combine 5-6 fresh strawberries (washed and hulled), 1 container of plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/2 tablespoon of honey (or corn syrup), 1 to 1/2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

Step 2

Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If you don’t have a blender, you can mash the strawberries finely in a bowl and then whisk in the other ingredients until well combined. Chill the dressing in the refrigerator while you prepare the salad.

Step 3

Now, let’s prepare the salad components. Thoroughly wash the stonecrop under cold running water, removing any dirt. Drain it well in a colander. Wash the strawberries, remove the green tops, and cut them into bite-sized pieces, about 2-4 wedges each, depending on their size.

Step 4

Arrange the cleaned stonecrop attractively on a serving plate. Scatter the prepared strawberry pieces over the stonecrop, creating a visually appealing presentation. Drizzle the chilled strawberry yogurt dressing evenly over the salad.

Step 5

For an extra layer of flavor, finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. This will add a delightful sweet and tangy contrast to the salad. Serve immediately and enjoy this healthy and refreshing Stonecrop and Strawberry Salad!
