Main Ingredients
- 150g Vienna sausages (sliced diagonally)
- 150g Square fish cakes (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 Onion (thinly sliced)
- A little green onion (finely chopped)
Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce (savory type)
- 2 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- A pinch of sugar (for sweetness adjustment)
- A little sesame oil
- A little toasted sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce (savory type)
- 2 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- A pinch of sugar (for sweetness adjustment)
- A little sesame oil
- A little toasted sesame seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the ingredients. Slice the Vienna sausages diagonally about 1cm thick. Cut the square fish cakes into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3cm squares or rectangles. Thinly slice one onion. Finely chop the green onion.
Step 2
Heat a large pan over medium-low heat. Add the chopped green onion, 2 Tbsp sunflower oil, and 1 tsp minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 30-40 seconds until fragrant. This step of sautéing the green onion in oil enhances the overall flavor.
Step 3
Add the prepared sausages, fish cakes, and sliced onion to the pan. Turn the heat up to high. Stir and mix well with a spatula to prevent sticking, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the ingredients are slightly cooked on the surface.
Step 4
Once the ingredients are somewhat cooked, add 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp oligosaccharide, and a pinch of sugar. Feel free to adjust the sweetness and saltiness to your preference. Oyster sauce adds umami, and you can use soy sauce to adjust the saltiness.
Step 5
Continue to stir-fry over high heat for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is evenly distributed. The onions should become translucent, and all ingredients should look glossy. Turn off the heat. Finally, drizzle with a little sesame oil and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds to complete this delicious sausage and fish cake stir-fry!
