Inspired by the visually stunning sandwich made by Eonam Seonsaeng on ‘Pyeonstorang’, I’ve reinterpreted it in my own special style! This Neobiani Sandwich is packed with generous ingredients and rich flavors, making it a perfect choice for a satisfying meal.
Essential Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 handful of cabbage (approx. 50g)
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of ham
- 1 piece of Neobiani (approx. 100g)
- 1 slice of cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the fresh cabbage. Using a slicer or peeler, shred the cabbage into very thin strips. Thinly shredded cabbage will add a pleasant texture while blending smoothly within the sandwich.
Step 2
Rinse the shredded cabbage thoroughly under cold running water. After rinsing, drain it well in a colander to remove excess water, preventing the sandwich from becoming soggy.
Step 3
Wash the fresh tomato under lightly salted or vinegar water to ensure cleanliness, then pat it dry. Slice it into approximately 0.5cm thick rounds.
Step 4
Melt 1 Tbsp of butter in a heated pan. Place the bread slices in the pan and toast them over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy. A crispy exterior and a soft interior will elevate the sandwich’s flavor.

On the side of the toasted bread where the ingredients will be placed, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise to create a coating. This step prevents the bread from getting soggy from the sauces and helps the ingredients adhere better.
