Main Ingredients
  • Brown rice rice paper wrappers: 6 sheets
  • Antibiotic-free chicken breast: 1 piece (approx. 150-200g)
  • Ripe avocados: 2
  • Fresh carrots: 1 (medium size)
  • Bamboo salt (or sea salt): a pinch
  • Black pepper: a pinch
  • Organic oyster sauce: 1 Tbsp
  • Brown rice oil (or vegetable oil): a little

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, remove the stem from the avocado. Slice it vertically lengthwise, carefully avoiding the seed, and then twist the two halves apart.

Step 2

Gently remove the avocado pit. Separate the flesh from the peel and slice it lengthwise into approximately 0.5 cm thick strips.

Step 3

Wash the fresh carrots thoroughly under running water. (Using baking soda or a vinegar solution can help clean them even better.)

Step 4

Peel the cleaned carrots and julienne them into fine strips, about 0.3 cm thick. Thinly cut carrots will provide a better texture.

Step 5

Allow frozen chicken breast to thaw naturally at room temperature. Once thawed, lightly rinse the chicken breast under cold water to remove any blood. Pat it dry thoroughly with paper towels. Removing the blood well prevents any gamey odors.

Step 6

Cut the drained chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 1 cm thick, making them easy for everyone to eat.

Step 7

In a large bowl, combine the prepared chicken breast and julienned carrots. Add 1g of bamboo salt (about 1/4 tsp) for seasoning.

Add a pinch of freshly ground black pepper for enhanced aroma. Adjust the amount of pepper to your preference.

Add 1 tablespoon of organic oyster sauce and gently mix everything together with your hands until well combined. For an even better flavor, let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Fill a wide dish with hot water. Dip each brown rice rice paper wrapper into the hot water until it becomes soft and pliable. Be careful not to soak it for too long, as it might tear.

Lay the softened rice paper wrapper flat. Arrange the cooked chicken breast, avocado slices, and carrot strips neatly on one side.

Step 13
