  • Mozzarella cheese 3 Tbsp
  • Onion 1/6
  • Green chili pepper 1/2
  • Tomato 1 Tbsp (finely chopped)

Bulgogi Seasoning
  • Beef for Bulgogi 2 slices (approx. 100g)
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Cooking wine (Cheongju) 1 Tbsp
  • Sugar 1 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 Tbsp
  • Pepper a pinch
  • Sesame oil a pinch

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, marinate the bulgogi to infuse it with flavor. Cut the 2 slices of beef for bulgogi into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl. Add 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp cooking wine, 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp minced garlic, 1 Tbsp mustard seeds, a pinch of pepper, and a pinch of sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes. The mustard seeds add a wonderful depth of flavor, so be sure to include them!

Step 2

Finely dice 1/6 of an onion and thinly slice 1/2 of a green chili pepper after removing the seeds. Lightly oil a pan and stir-fry the marinated bulgogi, diced onion, and sliced green chili pepper over high heat. Cook just until the bulgogi is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly softened; this maintains a pleasant texture.

Step 3

Prepare your tortilla. Spread a thin layer of chili sauce (or tomato sauce) evenly over the tortilla. Generously pile the cooked bulgogi and vegetable mixture on top. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp of finely chopped tomato across the filling. Layer 1 slice of cheddar cheese and 3 Tbsp of mozzarella cheese, creating 2-3 layers for an abundant filling. Using plenty of cheese will make your burrito richer and tastier.

Step 4

Fold in the sides of the tortilla slightly to prevent the filling from spilling out, then tightly roll up the rest of the tortilla. Rolling it firmly, similar to making sushi rolls, is important. Wrap the rolled tortilla in parchment paper, folding and securing the ends. Then, lightly toast it for about 2 minutes in a preheated pan or air fryer. Your delicious bulgogi cheese burrito will be ready with a crispy exterior and gooey, melted cheese inside.
