Essential Ingredients
  • Napa Cabbage (Albaechu) 2 handfuls (approx. 200g)
  • Onion 1/3 (small size)
  • Egg 1
  • Soy Sauce 0.5 Tbsp
  • Black Pepper a pinch (approx. 0.5 tsp)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the Napa cabbage thoroughly and pat it dry. Then, chop it into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm in length, to maintain a pleasant texture. Peel and thinly slice the onion, then finely mince it. Prepare both ingredients.

Step 2

Heat 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced onion and sauté until it becomes translucent and releases a sweet aroma. It’s important to cook it slowly without burning.

Step 3

Once the onion is sufficiently sautéed and its sweetness has developed, add the chopped Napa cabbage and stir-fry together. Use medium-high heat for quick cooking to preserve the cabbage’s crispiness. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until the cabbage just starts to wilt.

Step 4

When the Napa cabbage is tender, push the ingredients to one side of the pan. Crack the egg into the empty space and scramble it. Once the egg is cooked through, mix it with the other ingredients.

Now, add 1 bowl of cooked rice. Season with 0.5 Tbsp of soy sauce and a pinch of black pepper. Gently break up any clumps of rice with a spatula as you stir-fry to ensure a delicious fried rice. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
