  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp butter

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

These accordion potatoes are so popular in my house, they’re affectionately called ‘potato sticks’! Shall we start making this delightful potato dish with its golden recipe?

Step 2

First, thoroughly wash the potatoes to remove any dirt from the skins. Scrub them well under running water or use a soft brush for a clean preparation.

Step 3

To ensure the potatoes are not cut all the way through, place two wooden chopsticks on either side of the potato as you slice. The knife will rest on the chopsticks, preventing it from cutting through to the bottom. Slice the potatoes at roughly 0.5cm intervals.

Step 4

Now, let’s make the special seasoning that adds so much flavor! Microwave the butter for about 10 seconds until it’s nicely melted. Add the salt and dried parsley to the melted butter and mix them together thoroughly. This is the end of making the accordion potato seasoning! Brush this mixture generously between the potato slices.

Step 5

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook the seasoned potatoes for 20 minutes. Check on their doneness, and if you prefer them crispier, continue cooking for another 12 minutes. If you set a higher temperature, around 32 minutes total cooking time should suffice for a crispy result.

Step 6

Voila! Your delicious-looking accordion potatoes are ready. They’re perfect for snacking on individually and make a wonderful dish for entertaining guests. Aren’t they beautiful and so tasty? Be sure to try this recipe!
