Essential Ingredients
  • 2 bundles of Ichiran Ramen noodles
  • 900ml water
  • 2 sachets of Ichiran Ramen liquid soup base
  • 2 sachets of Ichiran Ramen chili powder seasoning (optional)
  • 1/2 fresh green onion

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, take out 2 servings of the individually packaged ingredients from the Ichiran Ramen meal kit. Accurately measuring each component will help you achieve the best flavor.

Step 2

Trim and wash the fresh green onion, then finely chop it. This will be used as a garnish to enhance the ramen’s aroma and flavor.

Step 3

Bring 900ml of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the 2 bundles of Ichiran Ramen noodles. Gently stir the noodles with chopsticks as soon as you add them to prevent them from sticking together.

Step 4

Cook the noodles for approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Ichiran Ramen noodles are thin and cook very quickly; adhering to this cooking time is crucial for achieving their signature chewy texture. Be careful not to overcook, as they can become mushy.

Step 5

Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat to low or turn it off temporarily. Add the 2 sachets of liquid soup base and the 2 sachets of chili powder seasoning (you can omit the chili powder if you prefer less spice). Stir well until the soup bases are fully dissolved. Turn off the heat and immediately transfer the noodles and broth to serving bowls to prevent the noodles from overcooking.

Step 6

Finally, garnish the ramen with the chopped fresh green onions. For an even more authentic and visually appealing bowl, consider adding a soft-boiled egg, slices of chashu pork, or nori seaweed. Enjoy your delicious homemade Ichiran Ramen!
