Aromatic Crown Daisy and Fish Cake Soup
Fish Cake Soup with Crown Daisy
A delicious fish cake soup featuring the fragrant addition of crown daisy! This recipe brings together the refreshing aroma of crown daisy and the chewy texture of fish cakes for a deeply flavorful and comforting soup.
Ingredients
- Assorted Fish Cakes for Soup, 398g
- Fresh Crown Daisy, 4 stalks
- Dashida Pack (or Fish Cake Soup Base) 1 pack
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the crown daisy thoroughly under running water and pat it dry. Roughly chop it into bite-sized pieces. Rinse the assorted fish cakes, drain any excess water, and if necessary, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2
Pour about 1 liter (approximately 5 cups) of water into a pot. Add the Dashida pack (or fish cake soup base) to create a flavorful broth. Stir to ensure the contents of the pack dissolve well in the water.
Step 3
Bring the broth to a rolling boil over high heat. Boiling the broth will ensure the fish cakes cook perfectly and release their delicious flavor.
Step 4
Once the broth is boiling, remove and discard the Dashida pack. Carefully add the prepared assorted fish cakes to the pot.
Step 5
If your fish cake soup set came with a seasoning sauce, set it aside in a small bowl. This sauce will add an extra layer of savory depth to your soup.
Step 6
Pour the prepared fish cake soup sauce directly into the boiling broth and stir well to combine. Ensure the sauce is evenly distributed throughout the soup.
Step 7
Finally, arrange the chopped crown daisy attractively on top of the soup. To preserve the fresh aroma and crisp texture of the crown daisy, cook for only about 1-2 minutes more, as overcooking will make it wilt. Serve hot and enjoy immediately!
