  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic (optional)

Spicy-Sweet Sauce (Optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1.5 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Syrup (or Honey)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, we’ll remove any gamey smell from the chicken breast and tenderize its texture. Rinse the chicken breasts lightly under running water. Place the chicken breasts in a deep bowl and pour in 1 cup of milk. Let them soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour. If you’re short on time, even 10 minutes of soaking can help. After soaking, drain the chicken breasts in a colander and pat them dry with paper towels. Now, lightly season with salt and pepper. If you like, add a little minced garlic and gently massage it into the chicken for pre-seasoning.

Step 2

Preheat your air fryer now. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Leaving some space between each piece will help them cook evenly. If you plan to add sauce, you can brush it generously over the chicken breasts at this stage.

Step 3

1. Cook for 15 minutes in the preheated air fryer at 200°C (390°F). 2. After 15 minutes, carefully flip the chicken breasts over. 3. Once flipped, continue cooking at 200°C (390°F) for another 5 to 7 minutes until thoroughly cooked through. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of your chicken breasts. To check for doneness, insert a skewer; if the juices run clear, it’s perfectly cooked. You can enjoy the chicken breast immediately, or let it cool slightly before adding it to salads or sandwiches for a delicious meal.
