Spicy and Sweet Pickled Green Peppers
Green Pepper Dish / Pickled Green Peppers
Create various side dishes with green peppers, which are low in calories and great for dieting. This recipe offers a delicious and healthy option.
Ingredients
- 200g fresh green peppers
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 4 Tbsp oligosaccharide
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the green peppers thoroughly under running water. When preparing them, gently trim off the stems. It’s best to just snip them off lightly rather than cutting too much.
Step 2
Place all the prepared green peppers into a pot or pan. Arrange the peppers so they are evenly spread at the bottom of the pot. If they are clumped together, the seasoning might not be absorbed evenly.
Step 3
Pour 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 4 tablespoons of oligosaccharide over the green peppers. It’s important to cook over medium-low heat to prevent the seasoning from burning. Simmer slowly until the peppers soften slightly and the seasoning is evenly absorbed, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Stirring the peppers occasionally will help the seasoning penetrate better. This will result in delicious pickled green peppers.
