Refreshing Mini Watermelon Punch
Making a Cute Mini Watermelon Punch
Hello everyone! Today, we’re making something special with the popular mini watermelons. These small watermelons are wonderful because they’re easy to finish without waste and convenient to store. Today, I’ll show you how to make a refreshing and sweet mini watermelon punch using these cute fruits. It’s as beautiful as it is delicious, perfect for beating the summer heat!
Ingredients
- 1 Mini Watermelon
- 1 slice Peach (or your favorite fruit)
- 5 Shine Muscat grapes
- 5 Jujube cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup Milkyis (or Sprite/7UP)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
The star of this recipe is the mini watermelon! We’ll complement it with sweet peaches, crisp Shine Muscat grapes, and adorable jujube cherry tomatoes. Feel free to substitute or add other fruits like apples, Korean melons, or blueberries based on your preference. Remember to wash all fruits thoroughly!
Step 2
A melon baller is incredibly useful for scooping out round watermelon balls. If you don’t have one, a regular spoon with a slightly rounded edge will work just fine to create beautiful watermelon scoops.
Step 3
First, trim a small slice off the bottom of the mini watermelon to create a stable, flat base. This will allow you to stand the watermelon upright securely while you work.
Step 4
Next, carefully slice off the top portion where the stem is attached. Then, using a small paring knife or a decorative cutter, carve a decorative pattern around the cut edge of the top to make a charming watermelon bowl.
Step 5
Voila! After carving the top, we have this lovely, natural shape. Doesn’t it already look refreshing?
Step 6
Now, it’s time to scoop out the watermelon flesh. Insert the melon baller deep into the watermelon and rotate it to create perfectly round balls. Doing this thoroughly will ensure you have nice pieces for your punch.
Step 7
See these perfectly round watermelon balls? They’re delicious on their own, but they’ll add a wonderful texture to the punch.
Step 8
After scooping out most of the flesh, use a spoon to scrape out any remaining bits from the inside of the watermelon shell. This will transform the hollowed-out watermelon into a beautiful serving bowl for your punch. Make sure to clean it out thoroughly, leaving only the rind.
Step 9
Peel the peach and slice it into rounds. Then, use a small cookie cutter or knife to cut out cute heart shapes. These will add a lovely visual touch to your watermelon punch.
Step 10
Arrange the scooped watermelon balls, jujube cherry tomatoes, Shine Muscat grapes, and heart-shaped peaches attractively inside the hollowed-out watermelon rind. Finally, pour in the Milkyis (or your chosen soda) until the watermelon bowl is nearly full. The amount of liquid should be enough to fill the watermelon without overflowing; the exact measurement isn’t critical, just adjust to fit your watermelon bowl.
Step 11
Your delicious mini watermelon punch is ready! The combination of watermelon and various fruits makes it fun to pick and choose your bites. The cool, sweet flavor of Milkyis, along with its fizzy bubbles, creates a delightful sensation. Enjoy this refreshing treat on a hot summer day!
