Ingredients
  • 1 Bagel (your favorite kind)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Allulose (or sugar, honey)
  • Pinch of Parsley (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

You can use any type of bagel you prefer, such as plain or onion. The parsley is optional and can be omitted if you don’t have it.

Step 2

Slice the bagel thinly, about 0.5 cm thick. Slicing them thin is key to achieving a crispy texture, like a chip. If they are too thick, they might become chewy rather than crispy.

Step 3

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, allulose, minced garlic, and parsley. Microwave for 10-20 seconds, just until the butter is melted and everything is well combined into a smooth sauce.

Step 4

Place the thinly sliced bagel pieces in a bowl. Gradually add the garlic butter sauce, tossing gently to coat each piece evenly. Ensure all sides of the bagel slices are coated for maximum flavor.

Step 5

Arrange the coated bagel slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 4 minutes. One side should start turning golden brown.

Step 6

After 4 minutes, carefully flip the bagel chips over and air fry for an additional 2 minutes, or until the other side is also golden brown and crispy. Your delicious bagel chips are now ready!

Step 7

Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model. Keep an eye on them and adjust the time as needed to reach your desired level of crispiness.
