Main Ingredients
  • 1 can of tuna (drained)
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 zucchini

Seasoning & Others
  • Grapeseed oil (for frying)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (a pinch)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, let’s prepare the vegetables. Cut the zucchini in half, remove the seeds, and dice it into about 0.5cm pieces. Then, finely mince it using the back of a knife or a vegetable chopper. Finely chopping the vegetables ensures they mix well into the batter and provides a pleasant texture.

Step 2

Wash the carrot, peel it, and finely mince it to a similar size as the zucchini. The vibrant color of the carrot will make the pancake look even more appetizing.

Step 3

Peel and finely chop the onion as well. Combine all the prepared zucchini, carrot, and onion in a bowl. Drain the tuna thoroughly by placing it in a sieve, then add it to the bowl with the vegetables and mix everything well.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, crack and lightly beat the 3 eggs. Pour the beaten eggs into the bowl with the mixed vegetables and tuna. Season with salt and a pinch of pepper to taste. Use a fork or spatula to combine all ingredients thoroughly. If the batter seems too thin, you can add a little flour or pancake mix.

Step 5

Now, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a generous amount of grapeseed oil. Ladle portions of the batter onto the hot pan, gently pressing them down with the back of a spoon to form round pancakes. Once one side is golden brown, flip it over and cook the other side until golden brown. Serve hot for the best taste!
