- 600g Beef for Bulgogi (ribeye or sirloin recommended)
Bulgogi Marinade
- 6 Tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced green onion
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Sesame oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp Cooking wine (Mirin or similar)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the vegetables. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly and pat them dry. Thinly slice the onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Marinate the bulgogi beef with the prepared marinade ingredients. (Tip: Marinating the bulgogi beforehand enhances its flavor!) Heat a pan over high heat. Add the marinated bulgogi and sliced onion, and stir-fry quickly. Stir-frying over high heat prevents the meat from releasing too much liquid and ensures a delicious result. Once the bulgogi is cooked, set it aside. Next, prepare the tortillas. Lightly toast the tortillas on a dry pan on both sides, or microwave them for about 20-30 seconds until they become soft and pliable. This step is crucial to prevent the tortillas from tearing when you roll them.
Step 2
Now, it’s time to assemble the rolls. On the softened tortilla, first place the prepared vegetables (lettuce, bell pepper, carrot). Then, generously layer the cooked bulgogi on top. Finally, drizzle with honey mustard sauce according to your preference for an added flavor boost. Fold in the sides of the tortilla first, then tightly roll it up from one end to the other, ensuring the filling stays securely inside.
Step 3
Voila! Your delicious Bulgogi Tortilla Rolls are ready! These rolls are not only visually appealing but also incredibly tasty. Make your mealtime special with these flavorful Bulgogi Tortilla Rolls. They are sure to be a hit as a snack for kids or as a picnic lunch!
