Ingredients

  • Sausage 2 cups (approx. 200-250g, your favorite kind)
  • Garlic 3-4 cloves (minced or thinly sliced)
  • Onion 1/4 medium (thinly sliced)
  • Cabbage 1/4 small head (bite-sized pieces)
  • Cherry tomatoes 5-6
  • Olive oil 1 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Tomato sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Parsley flakes for garnish

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the cherry tomatoes and remove their stems. Blanch them in boiling water for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Immediately transfer the blanched tomatoes to cold water to cool, then peel off the skins. If the tomatoes are large, cut them in half before using.

Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces. Briefly blanch the sausages in boiling water for about 1 minute. This step helps remove excess fat, making the dish lighter. Drain the blanched sausages well.

Slice the onion thinly and cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the garlic. (If using minced garlic, you can add it towards the end.)

Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the sliced garlic and gently sauté until fragrant, taking care not to burn it. Once the garlic turns golden, proceed to the next step.

Add the sliced onions, cabbage, and blanched sausages to the pan with the garlic. Increase the heat to medium and stir-fry until the vegetables are slightly tender. Season with salt and pepper to your taste. (Adjust salt if your sausages are already seasoned.)

Once the vegetables and sausages are partially cooked, add the tomato sauce. Stir well to combine everything and cook for another 1-2 minutes. The tomato sauce will add a delicious sweet and tangy flavor.
