Ingredients- 1 piece of Korean radish (about 100-150g)
- 1 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
- 2/3 cup (approx. 130ml) warm water (below 60°C / 140°F)
Cooking Instructions

First, prepare the radish by washing it thoroughly. You don’t need to peel it; just ensure it’s clean. For this recipe, we want to preserve the fresh flavor of the radish.

Next, grate the prepared radish finely. The key here is to avoid mashing it. Instead, gently grate it in slow, circular motions. This technique helps to mellow out the radish’s sharp peppery notes while enhancing its natural sweetness, resulting in a smoother, more palatable juice. Think of it as drawing gentle circles rather than forceful scrubbing.
Step 3
Now, let’s measure the grated radish. Regardless of the cup size you use, you’ll need about 1/3 cup of grated radish. Adjust the amount of radish based on the size of your measuring cup.

It’s time to add the water. Ensure it’s warm, but not too hot – below 60°C (140°F). Using boiling water can degrade the beneficial compounds in the radish and honey. Let the water cool slightly before pouring. Pour about 2/3 of a cup (approximately 130ml) of this warm water over the grated radish and mix well.
