Ingredients- 1 bunch asparagus
- 15 Brussels sprouts
- 200g prawns, cleaned
- 1 stalk green onion (scallion)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 Tbsp bulgogi sauce
- Vegetable oil, as needed
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
*Prepare the Ingredients* First, trim about 3cm off the tough, woody ends of the asparagus spears.

Wash the Brussels sprouts in water with a little vinegar, then trim off the very top tip.

This is how you prepare them. It’s really simple!

*Start Cooking* Bring a pot of water to a boil and add a pinch of sea salt (regular salt is fine, but avoid MSG-based salt). 🙂

While the water is heating up, let’s make some fragrant oil in a pan to keep things interesting! Heat the pan over high heat.

Add minced garlic and chopped green onion to the pan. Drizzle in some vegetable oil.

Sauté until the garlic and green onion are lightly golden brown, infusing the oil with their delicious aromas. The smell is already wonderful!

Meanwhile, the water in the pot is starting to boil.

Once the water boils, add the asparagus (cut into 3 pieces each) and Brussels sprouts (cut in half). Blanch them for about 1 minute. They should be tender-crisp.

While the vegetables get a quick blanch,

add the prawns to the skillet.

Cook the prawns until they just start to turn pink and opaque,

and then drain the blanched vegetables, lightly pat them dry, and add them to the skillet with the prawns.

Now, add all the vegetables and prawns to the pan.

Season with a pinch of salt.

Add a pinch of black pepper for seasoning.

Finally, add 1 tablespoon of bulgogi sauce for extra flavor.
