Essential Ingredients

  • 1 pack Paldo Jjajang Ramen
  • 1 pack Buldak Bokkeum Myun

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, bring a generous amount of water to a rolling boil in a pot over high heat. Once the water is boiling vigorously, add the noodles from the Paldo Jjajang Ramen and its dried vegetable mix, along with the noodles and dried vegetable mix from the Buldak Bokkeum Myun. Boiling both sets of noodles together will create a richer flavor.

Step 1

Step 2

After about 2 minutes, once the noodles have started to loosen, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the boiling water. Adding vinegar helps to make the noodles chewier and balances the richness of the jjajang sauce, resulting in a cleaner taste. This step is a crucial tip for achieving flavor harmony!

Step 2

Step 3

Once the noodles are cooked to your liking, drain them thoroughly in a colander. It’s important to remove as much water as possible to prevent the ramen from tasting bland. Transfer the cooked noodles immediately into a serving bowl.

Step 3

Step 4

Now it’s time to add the flavor! Generously drizzle the jjajang sauce from the Paldo Jjajang Ramen and the spicy sauce from the Buldak Bokkeum Myun over the noodles in the bowl. Sprinkle the included chili flakes from Buldak Bokkeum Myun, a pinch of red pepper flakes, and a pinch of black pepper over the top to complete the fantastic ‘map-jja’ combination. For an even more delicious experience, consider adding a fried egg or some chopped green onions!
