How to Make a Multi-Purpose Meat Sauce
A versatile sauce that you can use for many dishes!
Base Ingredients- 3 Tbsp Chives (chopped to about 0.5-1cm length)
- 1 Spicy Green Chili Pepper (seeded and finely minced)
Sauce Seasoning- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (Korean ‘Jin’ soy sauce)
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 3 Tbsp Plum Extract (Maesil Cheong)
- 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (Korean ‘Jin’ soy sauce)
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 3 Tbsp Plum Extract (Maesil Cheong)
- 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the fresh chives thoroughly and pat them dry. Then, chop them into bite-sized pieces, about 0.5 to 1 cm in length. For the spicy green chili pepper, remove the stem, slice it lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and then mince it finely to add a pleasant kick to the sauce.

Now, let’s make the sauce! In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of sweet plum extract, 2 tablespoons of tangy lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Add the prepared chopped chives and minced chili pepper to the bowl. Finally, stir in 1 tablespoon of savory sesame oil and 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds.
