Make a Meal Replacement Tomato Banana Juice: Delicious and Nutritious!

Tomato Banana Juice

Do you love tomato juice? Tomatoes are incredibly good for your health, but sometimes eating them plain can be limiting, and buying them in bulk, while cost-effective, can be overwhelming in quantity. I’ve shared how to make banana juice before, and I often make tomato juice too. I decided to combine these two because I had an abundance of both. Wow, this is how you should be eating them! It’s much tastier and more filling than plain tomato juice or banana juice! It’s great as a breakfast substitute, and after a long day at work, a glass of this chilled juice feels incredibly refreshing – it melts away all your fatigue!

  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Ripe banana
  • Honey
  • 100ml water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, let’s prepare the tomatoes. Wash them thoroughly under running water for about 3 minutes, ensuring they are clean. Then, carefully remove the stem. It doesn’t matter if you use large tomatoes or cherry tomatoes; both work wonderfully.

Step 1

Step 2

Next, prepare the banana. There’s no need to wash the banana; simply peel it and then slice it into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

Step 3

Now, it’s time to combine all the prepared ingredients in a blender. Add the tomatoes and banana together.

Step 3

Step 4

What’s the perfect ratio for a delicious juice? I’ve experimented with ratios like 1:2, 1:1, and 2:1 (tomato to banana), and personally, I find a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio to be the most delicious. To avoid a watery consistency, I recommend using only about 100-150ml of water. Add a tablespoon of honey for sweetness. You can also adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding alternatives like allulose, stevia, or sugar.

Step 4

Step 5

Now, press the blend button and let the ‘whirrr’ sound fill your kitchen as all the ingredients are smoothly pureed. In just a moment, your incredibly simple and delicious Tomato Banana Juice will be ready. Isn’t that easy?

Step 5

Step 6

Since this homemade tomato juice doesn’t use a lot of water, it might separate slightly if stored. Just give it a good stir before drinking to enjoy it as fresh as when you first made it. The quantity is quite generous, so if you can’t finish it all at once, you can refrigerate it and enjoy it the next day. (I usually make a batch, drink half, refrigerate the other half, and drink it the following day.) On hot summer days when you crave ice cream or a cold drink, boost your energy with a glass of fresh, healthy, homemade juice. Best of all, since you made it to your taste, the flavor is guaranteed to be perfect!
