Ingredients- 3 cups finely chopped onion
- 2 cups ground beef
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Pizza dough (conveniently made with a store-bought hotteok mix)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp yogurt sauce
- 50g mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/3 tsp nutmeg
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prepare the delicious filling for your pizza. Heat 1/4 cup of olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add 3 cups of finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Cooking the onions slowly will bring out their natural sweetness, which is key for a flavorful filling.

Once the onions are translucent, add 2 cups of ground beef. Break up any clumps with your spoon and cook until the beef is browned. This step not only cooks the meat but also develops its rich flavor.

When the beef is fully cooked, season it with 1/2 tsp of dried oregano, 1/2 tsp of allspice, and 1/2 tsp of salt for balanced flavor. Add 1/3 tsp of nutmeg for a warm, aromatic touch. Stir everything together thoroughly to combine the spices and meat. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Spread the cooked meat mixture onto a tray or plate and let it cool completely. Placing hot filling on the dough can make it soggy, so ensure it’s cool before assembly. This step is crucial for a crispy crust.
