Main Ingredients
  • 300g Sausage (choose your favorite type)
  • 1/2 Onion (about 100g)
  • 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper (about 50g)
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper (about 50g)

Sweet and Savory Sauce
  • 5 Tbsp Ketchup (approx. 75ml)
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (approx. 30ml)
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar (approx. 15g)
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Syrup or Honey (approx. 15g)
  • 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds (approx. 10g)
  • 3 Tbsp Cooking Oil (approx. 45ml)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion and cut it into roughly 2x2cm squares. If the pieces are stuck together, separate them.

Step 2

Wash the yellow and red bell peppers, remove the seeds, and cut them into the same approximately 2x2cm squares as the onion. Their vibrant colors will make the dish visually appealing.

Step 3

Using a knife, make cross-shaped cuts (‘+’ shape) into the top of the sausages, cutting about halfway through. This will help them open up beautifully as they cook.

Step 4

Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the chopped onion and stir-fry until it becomes translucent. The onion will soften and release its natural sweetness.
