[Your New Favorite Side Dish] Quick 5-Minute Recipe with Simple Seasoning: Beef Brisket and Bean Sprout Stir-Fry
I grew some fresh bean sprouts at home and had beef brisket on hand, so I decided to make this as a main side dish! It’s perfect for when you have guests over and is a beloved dish for both kids and adults. This dish complements the protein from the beef with the vitamins and minerals from the bean sprouts, creating a nutritious meal.
Main Ingredients- 200g beef brisket
- 200g bean sprouts
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
Flavor Enhancers (Optional)- 1 Tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of cooking oil. Add the 200g of beef brisket and stir-fry for about 2 minutes, or until the meat is halfway cooked. This step helps to render some of the delicious fat from the brisket.
Step 2
Once the beef brisket is partially cooked, season it with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Then, add the 200g of bean sprouts and stir-fry quickly for about 1 minute, just until they slightly wilt. Be careful not to overcook them, as you want to maintain their crispiness!
Step 3
Before the bean sprouts are fully cooked, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and 1 Tbsp of sugar. Pour them around the edges of the pan and stir-fry quickly for about 30 seconds to allow the seasonings to meld beautifully with the ingredients, enhancing the overall flavor.
Step 4
Turn off the heat. Stir in 1 Tbsp of chopped green onions, 1 Tbsp of sesame oil, and 1 Tbsp of toasted sesame seeds. Mix everything together well. This dish is absolutely delicious served over a warm bowl of rice!
