A Delicious Ginseng Dish Even Kids Will Love: Ginseng Pizza
This is a unique ginseng pizza recipe designed to make this healthy ingredient appealing even to children. The addition of glutinous rice flour adds a delightful chewy texture, and melted cheese enhances the flavor, making it a perfect meal or snack.
Ginseng Pizza Ingredients- 3 fresh ginseng roots (both root and body can be used)
- 1 Tbsp glutinous rice flour
- A pinch of salt
- 1 slice of cheese (or mozzarella cheese)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the fresh ginseng. Then, thinly julienne it to prepare. You can also use the root part of the ginseng for added flavor.
Step 2
Place the julienned ginseng in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of glutinous rice flour. Lightly coat the ginseng with the flour without adding water. Mix gently, avoiding overworking the mixture.
Step 3
Lightly oil a non-stick pan. Arrange the glutinous rice flour-coated ginseng in the pan. Cover with a lid and cook for a short while until the ginseng is lightly cooked.
Step 4
Once the ginseng is somewhat cooked, instead of flipping it, directly place slices of cheese sporadically over the ginseng. (If you have mozzarella cheese, that works wonderfully too.)
Step 5
Cover the pan again with the lid and wait until the cheese is completely melted over low heat. Your delicious ginseng pizza is ready when the cheese has melted! Enjoy it warm right away.
