- Rice for 2 servings (approx. 1.5 cups)

Begin by preparing the star ingredient: the Chodang corn. Husk the corn, then carefully use a knife to cut the kernels off the cob. It’s also a good idea to remove the corn silk for a cleaner texture.
Step 2
Select an oven-safe dish for cooking. Rinse and soak your rice (for 2 servings) for about 15-20 minutes. Place the soaked rice into the oven-safe dish. Add the freshly cut Chodang corn kernels and the corn cob itself to the dish. When adding water, use slightly less than you normally would for stovetop rice (about 10% less). This helps to balance the moisture from the corn and achieve perfectly cooked grains.
Step 3
Place the prepared corn and rice mixture into a preheated oven set to 130°C (266°F). Cook for approximately 30 minutes. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your oven’s performance.
