  • 14 Rice Cakes (Tteok) – both chewy glutinous rice cakes and firm flour rice cakes work well
  • 6 Frozen Dumplings – use your favorite kind

Sweet & Savory Garlic Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar (or granulated sugar)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic (add a little more if you love garlic flavor)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Water (to adjust sauce consistency)

Cooking Instructions

Gently rinse the frozen dumplings and rice cakes under cold water to thaw, or let them sit at room temperature for a little while. Arrange the thawed dumplings and rice cakes in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Place them in a preheated air fryer set to 180°C (350°F) and cook for about 10 minutes. The goal is to get the dumplings golden brown and the rice cakes slightly softened. Cooking time and temperature may vary depending on your air fryer model and the amount of ingredients, so keep an eye on them.
