  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Step 1

First, wash the 500g of sweet potatoes thoroughly and peel them. Using peeled sweet potatoes will result in a softer dough later.

Step 2

Cut the peeled sweet potatoes in half into bite-sized pieces. Cutting them like this will help them cook faster.

Step 3

Place the cut sweet potatoes in a pot and add 1.5 liters of water. This is enough water to fully submerge the sweet potatoes.

Step 4

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar while boiling the sweet potatoes. This will further enhance the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes.

Also add 1/2 tablespoon of salt. The combination of sweet and salty flavors will deepen the sweet potato’s taste. Now, cover the pot and boil until the sweet potatoes are completely tender.
