Complete 3 mid-stage baby meals with this simple rice cooker recipe!
Step 2
The ‘First Cook’ Sweet Potato Kabocha Porridge meal kit includes: [Pack 1] Rice powder (55g), [Pack 2] Sweet potato (45g), Kabocha squash (30g), and Carrot (15g), [Pack 3] Vegetable broth (90g).
Step 3
Gather your ‘First Cook’ meal kit, a rice cooker, 350g of water, 3 baby food containers, and a spatula.
Step 4
Pour the 350g of water into the rice cooker. Add all the ingredients from the ‘First Cook’ meal kit directly from frozen, without thawing. Make sure the rice powder is well dissolved in the water before closing the rice cooker lid.
Step 5
Cook on the rice cooker’s ‘Baby Food’ or ‘Porridge’ mode for 50 minutes. Your delicious baby food will be ready! *Note: Cooking mode and time may vary depending on your rice cooker’s performance. For Cuckoo baby food cookers, 50 minutes on ‘Baby Food’ mode is recommended. For Zojirushi baby food cookers, ‘Stage 1 Baby Food’ for 60 minutes is suggested.
Step 6
Once cooked, stir the baby food thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps. Even if some ingredients appear clumped, gently mix with the spatula until smooth and well combined.
Step 7
You’ll have approximately 480g of delicious baby food. Divide it equally into 3 containers (about 160g each) for easy storage and serving.
