Ingredients

  • Kanu coffee 2 sticks
  • Hot water 40ml
  • Ice, as needed
  • Milk 140ml
  • Sweetened condensed milk 20-30g

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, to create a rich coffee base, place 2 mini sticks of Kanu coffee into a small bowl or jug. Using plain instant coffee, not a sweetened mix, is key for authentic flavor.

Step 1

Step 2

Carefully pour 40ml of hot water over the Kanu coffee. Stir well until the coffee granules are completely dissolved to create a concentrated espresso shot. Be mindful of the water amount, as too much can dilute the coffee’s intensity.

Step 2

Step 3

Now, prepare your serving cup, preferably a clear one to admire the layers. Fill the cup generously with ice cubes. Plenty of ice will keep your latte refreshingly cold for longer and enhance its visual appeal.

Step 3

Step 4

Pour 20-30g of sweetened condensed milk over the ice. This is where the sweetness of your Dolce Latte comes from. You can adjust the amount to your preference; feel free to add a little more if you have a sweeter tooth.

Step 4

Step 5

Next, gently pour 140ml of cold milk over the sweetened condensed milk. Pouring slowly will help create beautiful layers. Using fresh, cold milk will contribute to a smoother and creamier texture.

Step 5

Step 6

Finally, slowly drizzle the concentrated Kanu coffee ‘espresso’ shot you made earlier around the edge of the cup. The coffee will gracefully cascade over the milk, creating a lovely marbled effect. Give it a gentle stir, and enjoy your delicious and rich Dolce Latte!
