Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a small mug or heatproof container, empty 1 packet of instant coffee. Using pre-portioned coffee sticks makes this step quick and easy.
Step 2
Carefully pour 50ml of hot water over the instant coffee. Be cautious as the water is hot.
Step 3
Using a small teaspoon or a mini whisk, stir the mixture until the coffee powder is completely dissolved and there are no lumps. Achieving a smooth coffee base is key for a great latte.
Step 4
Fill your serving glass generously with ice cubes. The amount of ice can be adjusted based on how cold and how diluted you like your latte.
Step 5
Pour the concentrated coffee base you just prepared over the ice. Watching the dark coffee cascade over the ice is part of the visual appeal.
Step 6
Slowly pour 100ml of cold milk over the coffee and ice. Pouring it gently along the side of the glass will help create beautiful layers between the milk and coffee.
