- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 3 Tbsp Chopped Green Onion
- Sesame seeds (toasted, for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
This pear kimchi is incredibly quick to make, requiring just chopping with your kitchen knife and using common pantry seasonings. It’s a recipe that proves delicious kimchi can be made easily!
Step 2
First, thoroughly wash the two pears. To make them kid-friendly, carefully core the pears, removing the central seed part.
Step 3
Cut the cored pears into bite-sized cubes. Cubes of about 2-3 cm are ideal for absorbing seasoning and easy eating.
Step 4
Transfer the cubed pears into a large mixing bowl. Add the prepared seasonings: 2 tablespoons of gochugaru, 1 tablespoon of saeujeot, 1/2 tablespoon of minced garlic, and 3 tablespoons of chopped green onion.
Step 5
Gently mix the ingredients, ensuring the seasoning coats the pear cubes evenly. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the pears mushy. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for a final touch. Your delicious pear kimchi is ready!
