This recipe uses a pre-made spicy silkworm pupae stew can, commonly found in supermarkets for around 2,500-3,000 KRW. It’s incredibly easy – just open the can, pour it into a pot, and heat it up. Perfect for a quick, flavorful snack or side dish.
Ingredients- 1 can of ready-to-heat spicy silkworm pupae stew (available at supermarkets)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, carefully open the lid of the silkworm pupae stew can. It’s best to open it slowly to prevent any splashing of the contents.
Step 2
Pour the contents of the opened can into a cooking pot. You can include any remaining liquid from the can as well. Ingredient preparation is now complete!
Step 3
Place the pot on your stovetop over medium heat. Bring the stew to a simmer, then continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes until thoroughly heated and the pupae are tender. For an enhanced flavor, you can add chopped green onions or chili peppers if desired.
