Main Ingredients

  • 1 serving instant ramen noodles
  • 3 Tbsp store-bought cream pasta sauce (up to 5 Tbsp, to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 pack ramen soup powder (including vegetable flakes)
  • 175ml hot water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, add 1 Tbsp of gochujang and 1 Tbsp of sugar to the inner pot of your rice cooker. Then, generously add 3 Tbsp of store-bought cream pasta sauce. If you prefer a richer and more intense rosé flavor, feel free to increase the cream pasta sauce to 5 Tbsp. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.

Step 1

Step 2

Next, add half of the ramen soup powder (0.5 pack) and the vegetable flakes that come with the ramen. I used ‘Jin Ramen Spicy’ because I like a bit of heat, but you can use any brand of ramen soup powder. Stir again gently to ensure all the seasonings are well mixed.

Step 2

Step 3

Arrange the prepared instant ramen noodles on top of the sauce base. It’s good to position the noodles so they can be well submerged in the sauce.

Step 3

Step 4

Prepare 175ml of hot water, freshly boiled in a kettle. Carefully pour the hot water over the noodles, ensuring that the entire serving of ramen in the rice cooker pot is evenly moistened. This helps prevent the noodles from clumping and allows the sauce to coat them evenly.

Step 4

Step 5

Now, select the ‘Reheat’ or ‘Cook’ function on your rice cooker and set the timer for 9 minutes. The rice cooker will take care of making your delicious Rabokki! It’s important not to open the lid during this cooking process.

Step 5

Step 6

Once cooking is complete, gently mix the Rabokki, being careful not to scratch the non-stick coating of the inner pot. Using a spatula or spoon made of PP plastic, silicone, or wood is recommended. As you stir, you’ll notice the sauce thickening slightly and the liquid reducing naturally.

Step 6

Step 7

Transfer the finished Rosé Rabokki to a serving bowl. Enjoy your steaming hot and delicious Rosé Rabokki!
