Main Ingredients- 2 packets of instant rice (if using leftover rice, warm it up)
- 1 can of tuna (about 150g), drained
- 1 medium onion
- 2 eggs
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- Canola oil (or cooking oil)
Seasoning- 3 Tbsp soy sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients needed for the fried rice. Peel and wash the onion thoroughly, then dice it finely or chop it into small pieces. Make sure to drain the oil from the tuna can completely. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.

Add the prepared onions to a pan and stir-fry over medium heat for about 1 minute until they become translucent. Sautéing the onions brings out their sweetness, enhancing the flavor of the fried rice.
Step 3
Once the onions are slightly cooked, add the drained tuna to the pan and stir-fry together. It’s best to break up the tuna with a spatula as you stir-fry to prevent it from clumping.

Prepare 2 packets of instant rice. If the rice is too cold or clumped together, microwave it for about 1 minute to warm it slightly. This will make the rice grains fluffy and prevent them from clumping when stir-frying.

Add the warmed rice to the pan and stir-fry it with the onions and tuna, mixing well. Continue to stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the rice grains are separated and fluffy.

Once the rice is well stir-fried, pour 3 tablespoons of soy sauce along the edge of the pan. Letting the soy sauce sizzle slightly on the hot pan enhances its flavor, making the fried rice even more delicious. Stir everything together to ensure the soy sauce is evenly distributed and absorbed by the rice. (Adjust the amount of soy sauce according to your preference.)

When the rice and seasoning are well combined, pour the whisked eggs into one side of the pan and scramble them. Once the eggs are partially cooked, gently mix them with the rice and continue stir-frying. This coats the rice grains with egg, giving it a softer texture.
