  • Imitation crab meat or crab sticks, 1-2 pieces
  • Bell pepper (various colors), 1/2
  • Tortillas, 4 sheets

Sauce & Toppings

  • Tomato ketchup or store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce, ample amount
  • Mozzarella cheese, 100g (or desired amount)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, gather all sorts of ingredients from your refrigerator. You don’t need to use a lot; even just a few items can make a delicious pizza.

Step 1

Step 2

For the pizza sauce, prepare either store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce or tomato ketchup. I’m using store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce today.

Step 2

Step 3

If you’re using onion and scallions, finely chop the onion and thinly slice the scallions.

Step 3

Step 4

Lightly grease a heated pan and sauté the chopped onion and sliced scallions until they are slightly softened. Sautéing these ingredients helps cut through the richness of the pizza and adds depth of flavor.

Step 4

Step 5

Season the frozen thinly sliced beef (or bulgogi cut) lightly with black pepper and cooking wine. Then, stir-fry it in a pan just until the pink color disappears. If you have bacon, slice and cook it alongside the beef for extra deliciousness.

Step 5

Step 6

Shred the imitation crab meat or crab sticks into bite-sized pieces. While not essential, adding these enhances the umami flavor.

Step 6

Step 7

If using eggplant, slice it thinly and lightly sauté it in a pan. Eggplant and scallions are highly recommended ingredients that add great texture and flavor to pizza.

Step 7

Step 8

Core and slice the bell pepper into manageable pieces. Using bell peppers of various colors makes the pizza visually appealing and nutritious. Although many ingredients are listed, even a few of your favorites will make a delicious pizza.

Step 8

Step 9

The star of the pizza! Prepare your mozzarella cheese. Adjust the amount to your liking.

Step 9

Step 10

Double-check the store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce you’ll be using as your base.

Step 10

Step 11

Now, lay out a tortilla flat. Start by spreading a generous layer of sauce all over the base of the tortilla. A moist base makes for a tastier pizza.

Step 11

Step 12

Arrange your prepared toppings – the sautéed onions and scallions, cooked meat, shredded crab, sautéed eggplant, sliced bell peppers, and any other ingredients you like – attractively over the sauce. Don’t overload the tortilla, as it might affect cooking time.

Step 12

Step 13

Once all the toppings are in place, generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over everything. It will look incredibly appetizing as the cheese melts!

Step 13

Step 14

Place the assembled tortilla pizza into an air fryer and cook at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-15 minutes. (For a conventional oven, bake at 200°C / 400°F for 10-12 minutes). Cook until the cheese is golden brown and melted, and the edges of the tortilla are crispy. The pizza will be moist inside and delicious. Adjust cooking time based on your appliance’s specifications.
