Ingredients
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2/3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 6-7 pinches of salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly wash the carrot, then peel it. Finely shred the carrot into thin strips. Try to cut them to a similar thickness for even cooking.

Step 2

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and let it heat up. Once the oil is shimmering, add the shredded carrots and begin to stir-fry.

Step 3

Once the carrots are coated with oil and start to become slightly translucent, add 2/3 tablespoon of minced garlic and 6-7 pinches of salt. Stir-fry them together for about 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Be careful not to overcook them into mushiness; you want them slightly crisp. If the pan seems dry, add 1 tablespoon of water to keep them moist.
