Ingredients- 1/2 medium radish
- 50g dill
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1/2 cup tempura flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, carefully remove the seeds from the red chili pepper and mince it very finely. Wash the dill thoroughly, focusing on the green parts, and then finely chop it. Preparing your ingredients in advance will make the cooking process much smoother.

Wash the radish well and julienne it thinly without peeling. The thinner the julienne strips, the softer and crispier the pancake will turn out.

Add 1/2 cup of tempura flour to the julienned radish. Using tempura flour will help achieve an extra crispy texture.

Gently toss the julienned radish with the tempura flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can release too much moisture from the radish and make the batter too wet. If you mix gently and cook immediately, you’ll have Ryu Soo-young’s basic radish pancake from ‘Pyeonstaurant’.
