  • Dried shredded squids (Jinmichae) 320g

Seasoning Ingredients

  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) 4 Tbsp
  • Gochugaru (Korean chili powder) 1.5 Tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Oligodang (corn syrup) or Mulyeot (rice syrup) 4 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1 Tbsp
  • Cooking wine (like Mirin) 3 Tbsp
  • Toasted sesame seeds, a pinch

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Gently rinse the dried shredded squids under cold running water to remove any impurities. Squeeze out any excess water with your hands. (Be careful not to rinse for too long, as it might affect the flavor.)

In a wide pan, combine all the seasoning ingredients: gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, oligodang, minced garlic, and cooking wine.
