Ingredients

  • 1 serving Sundae (Korean blood sausage)
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 5 Tbsp leftover Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, heat a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, then add the sundae. If your sundae contains any filling (like internal organs), feel free to add it in as well for extra flavor and texture. Stir-fry the sundae, almost like deep-frying it, until the exterior becomes golden brown and slightly crispy. This step is key to achieving a satisfying chewiness.

Step 2

While the sundae is cooking, slice the onion to your preferred size (julienned, diced, etc.). Once the sundae has turned golden brown, add the sliced onions to the pan and continue to stir-fry for about 1 minute. You’ll know it’s ready for the next step when the onions begin to turn translucent.

Step 3

Now, pour in the 5 tablespoons of leftover sweet and spicy chicken sauce. Keep the heat at medium-low and stir-fry for another minute, ensuring the sauce evenly coats the sundae and onions. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly and glazes the sundae beautifully. Serve immediately while warm for the best taste.
