- 6 frozen or thawed dumplings

Start by preparing your well-fermented kimchi. Finely chop the kimchi into pieces about 1cm in size. You can leave them slightly larger for a better bite texture.

If using frozen dumplings, thaw them first or microwave them for 30 seconds to 1 minute until slightly softened. Once thawed, finely chop the dumplings using scissors or a knife. Ensure the dumpling wrappers and filling are well mixed after chopping.
Step 3
In a bowl, crack in 1 large egg and add 3 tablespoons of pancake mix. Mix well with a spoon or whisk until you achieve a smooth batter. It’s important to consider the moisture from the kimchi and dumplings when adjusting the batter’s thickness.

Depending on the kimchi’s moisture content, the batter might become too thick.
