Essential Ingredients- 450g Fresh Raw Crabs (cleaned)
- 1/4 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 Korean Green Chili Pepper (seeds removed, sliced diagonally)
- 1/2 Green Onion (sliced diagonally, white part mainly)
- A pinch of Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
Seasoning Ingredients- 5 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes, adjust to spice preference)
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce (use seasoned soy sauce for soup if preferred, adjust saltiness)
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine (Mirin) (to remove fishiness and add umami)
- 2 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste, use mild for sweetness)
- 2 Tbsp Oligodang (corn syrup) or Honey (for gloss and sweetness)
- 1 Tbsp Sugar (adjust sweetness and seasoning consistency)
- 5 Tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes, adjust to spice preference)

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare the vegetables for marinating. Thinly slice the onion. Remove the stems from the Korean green chili pepper and slice it diagonally. Slice the green onion diagonally, focusing on the white parts. Prepping the vegetables like this makes marinating easier.

In a bowl, combine all the seasoning ingredients and mix well to create the delicious marinade. Add gochugaru, soy sauce, minced garlic, cooking wine, gochujang, oligodang, and sugar.
