Main Ingredients

  • 1 Frankfurter sausage
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cheongyang pepper (Korean chili)
  • 1/2 Red chili pepper
  • 4 Tbsp Minced onion
  • 50g Pizza cheese
  • A little cooking oil
  • A little Parsley flakes

Seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp Tuna extract

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, finely chop the sausage and mince the onion. Finely chop the Cheongyang pepper and red chili pepper to add spiciness. Crack the egg into a bowl, then strain it through a fine-mesh sieve. This will create a smooth, lump-free egg mixture. Add 1/4 tsp of tuna extract to the strained egg mixture and mix well. Tuna extract adds a savory depth that enhances the flavor.

Step 1

Step 2

Heat about 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced onion and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and releases a subtle sweetness, bringing out its aroma.

Step 2

Step 3

Once the onion is sautéed, add the chopped Frankfurter sausage, red chili pepper, and Cheongyang pepper. Stir-fry together for another 1-2 minutes. Instead of spreading the ingredients to the edges of the pan, gather them in the center to form a round shape, like a pizza base. This will make it easier to pour the egg mixture later.

Step 3

Step 4

Pour the prepared egg mixture evenly over the ingredients gathered in the center and around the pan, ensuring no gaps. As the egg mixture starts to cook on contact with the pan, maintain medium-low heat and cover with a lid. When the egg is about 70-80% cooked, with the surface still slightly moist, sprinkle the pizza cheese evenly over the top. Finally, sprinkle with parsley flakes for a more appealing look. Cover with the lid again and reduce the heat to low. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the egg is completely set.

Step 4

Step 5

Once the cheese is melted and the egg is fully cooked, your delicious Cheongyang pepper and egg pizza is ready! Carefully transfer it to a serving plate while warm and enjoy. The spicy and savory flavors will be a delightful explosion in your mouth.
