Ingredients- Sweet Intestine 180g
- Spicy Intestine 180g
- Sticky Sausage 400g (approx. 2 packs)
- Green Onion 1/2 stalk
- Onion 1
- Crown Daisy (Shungiku) a handful (optional)
- Chili Peppers 2 (or chilies of your preference)
- Perilla Leaves 7
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Heat a deep pan over medium heat, add a generous amount of cooking oil, and stir-fry the chopped green onions until fragrant, creating a flavorful green onion oil. Once the aromatic essence of the green onion has infused into the oil, add the sliced onion and sauté until it becomes translucent and tender. This step deepens the natural sweetness of the vegetables.
Step 2
If using pre-cooked store-bought intestines, they are often par-boiled, making them convenient to cook. Add the prepared sweet and spicy intestines to the pan and stir-fry quickly over high heat. It’s crucial to mix them rapidly to ensure the sauce coats them evenly. As the intestines cook and turn golden, a delicious aroma will fill your kitchen.
Step 3
While you can adjust the amount of sausage to your liking, we recommend using the full 400g (2 packs) of sticky sausage for a hearty and satisfying dish. Add the sausages to the pan and stir-fry them thoroughly with the intestines. Keep stirring to prevent the sausages from sticking to the pan as they cook.
Step 4
Finally, add the chopped crown daisy, diagonally sliced chili peppers, and thinly sliced perilla leaves. Stir everything together just enough to combine. The fresh aromas of the crown daisy and perilla leaves will further enhance the dish’s flavor profile. Be careful not to overcook; just wilt the greens slightly.
Step 5
Plate the delicious stir-fried intestine and sausage attractively, and it’s ready to serve! The steaming hot dish is sure to whet your appetite. Enjoy a wonderful time with this special dish tonight!
