We’ve stir-fried chicken breast in a delicious spicy and sweet sauce!
Main Ingredients- 1 pack chicken breast
- 1 Cheongyang chili pepper
- 1/2 onion
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
If using fresh, raw chicken breast, boil it in water for 10 minutes until cooked through. This step helps make the chicken breast tender and removes any raw smell.
Step 2
Once the chicken breast is cooked and slightly cooled, shred it into bite-sized pieces by hand following the grain. If you are using pre-cooked chicken breast, you can skip the boiling step and proceed directly to shredding.
Step 3
Heat a pan over medium heat with a little cooking oil. Add the finely chopped Cheongyang chili pepper first and stir-fry until fragrant. The spicy aroma of the chili pepper will enhance the dish’s flavor.
Step 4
As the chili pepper becomes fragrant, add the shredded chicken breast to the pan and stir-fry it together. It’s important to keep stirring to prevent the chicken breast from sticking to the pan.
Step 5
When the chicken breast starts to look slightly browned, add the sliced onion and continue to stir-fry. The onion will absorb the flavors of the chicken breast, making the dish even more delicious.
Step 6
Once the onion becomes translucent and tender, it’s time to add the flavor-packed sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of gochujang, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir-fry everything together until well combined and coated in the sauce. Be mindful of the heat to prevent the sauce from burning!
Step 7
When all the ingredients are nicely coated in the sauce and look appetizing, transfer the stir-fried chicken breast to a serving dish. It’s best enjoyed while still warm!
